Week 11

 I thought of start writing for Chapter 4, which is the discussion and results I supposed to gain from the experiment. Firstly I did was writing the experimental setup according to the flowchart I have included in Chapter 3. Another round of study on related method used to conduct the experiment. Researchers before has done it for other type of concentration such as corn oil concentration, acetone concentration, brake oil concentration, etc. 

From the study, I able to understand why does every step is count to be very important and how to get the best results. The main are, cladding removal, place or immerse optic cable into solution, and taking the reading of the power gain or power loss frequently.

I did study and wrote a systematic procedure using one wavelength of light source that is 1550nm, the three size of loop diameter, the five different concentration of sodium chloride, interval of taking reading include the recovery time in the changing of concentration.

For the results, I was expecting to have graphs of power peak (dB) against time for every concentration and get the average peak graph for each of them.
