On the first week of the semester, we (students) were given a briefing by our lecturer, Ts. Aminurrashid. He's responsible for conveying information about Projek Sarjana Muda to all students. He started with the introduction, the objectives and the different between the PSM 1 and PSM 2.
Like any other classes or subject, we were exposed to the student learning time. That actually tells us on the assessment that would be done throughout this semester. The time frame can be seen in the figure below.
1. Title registration by Supervisor. (confirmed within Week 1)
2. Short Module Video on Week 2 and Week 3. These videos were posted on our ULearn. It gives the students guide (will be explained on the next posts).
3. Logbook: weekly progress report. Students will record all their activities regarding to this project by week in a piece of paper or any notebook. This report will be the proof to student's efforts and performance in accomplishing their report writing.
4. PSM report: Student will follow the module given in order to have all the important content written in their report. Their writing will be guided by their own Supervisor. The report must be completed by Week 10 with TurnitIn report before the submission to the Panel on Week 13 through email.
5. PSM presentation: Students must prepare slide presentation according the rubrics given to them and record the presentation/present it on live depends on their panel need. It requires most of the part they have written in their reports. There will be also QnA session from the panel to student held after the presentation.
